We took advantage of the 50 degree weather yesterday and went cross country skiing with some of Tom’s co-workers. It was the ideal day for the outing and we both really enjoyed the chance to get out and get some fresh air and exercise. After going we both feel determined to get out more and possible get our own skis so we can get go closer to home. Anyone know a cheap place to find skis?

The last time we went skiing was two years ago. I took Tom as a surprise for Valentines day. We’re a week early, but do you think I can count it again? Oh wait, Tom planned it this time. I guess not.

We have two unused sets of cross-country skis/ poles/boots, altho’ you may need to find slightly smaller boot since they fit Randy and me. Are you coming over tomorrow night for Erin’s recital? Bring the biscuit recipe and I’ll trade you the skis for it.
